The UK Government’s Hydrogen Allocation Round 2 (HAR2) is set to support the construction of up to 875MW of new low-carbon hydrogen production projects across the country. This initiative is a key driver in achieving the national target of at least 1GW of electrolytic hydrogen capacity either in production or under construction by 2025. With new hydrogen facilities being developed nationwide, the programme will not only accelerate the UK's transition to clean energy but also stimulate investment in infrastructure, create jobs, and support industrial decarbonisation. These projects will be crucial in establishing a robust hydrogen network, ensuring regional growth, and reinforcing the UK’s position as a leader in the global hydrogen economy.
As part of this growing sector, our client—a leading National M&E Contractor—is seeking a 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗠&𝗘 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 / 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 to oversee multiple hydrogen and energy infrastructure projects across the UK. The first secured project is at 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱, and the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and delivery of high-profile schemes within the low-carbon energy sector. This role requires a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical project management, extensive experience in delivering large-scale construction projects, and the ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and ensure project milestones are met.
